Samurai Jack’s Fifth Season to Premiere in March This Year, Jack Looks Weathered and Bloodier Than Ever

Over the period of last two months, a full trailer and teaser involving Jack’s comeback have been filtered online, and even more, footage has hit the internet due to an adult swim featurette regarding the show.

In the program’s website, a behind-the-scenes video featuring the creative time of Samurai Jack was uploaded. In the footage, fans listen to Gendy Tartakovsky and Tyler Bates discussing the cinematic use of sound and music in the show. Meanwhile, in the footage, fans will spot a few new scenes.

In the video, fans will notice a weathered Jack during a round of meditation. In the later portion of the video, fans get a longer look at Jack as he takes control of a souped-up motorbike with spiked wheels during a battle.

Towards the end, fans get to see a slew of breathtaking scenery shots before Aku’s new regime of female warriors is shown making their way through a huge maze.

Airing on Adult Swim’s Toonami, the comeback of Samurai Jack had fans hyped last year when the network announced the development. The original series ran for four seasons from 2001 to 2004 and had a time-travel featuring samurai prince while he fought against the shape-shifting demon.
