MTV details that when a fan enters the site, a prompt to sign in with his or her Twitter account will pop up. Once visitors log in their Twitter accounts, it effectively gives 5SOS access to change their avatar and header image and post tweets about the band with #TheNewBrokenScene hashtag from their Twitter account.
Basically, it allows the band to hack into their fans’ accounts. According to Fuse TV, the website was created to reflect the message of positivity found in their single “She’s Kinda Hot” which was released in July with its music video released in August.
Speaking of the band’s single, the Aussie boys are gearing up for the worldwide release of “Sounds Good Feels Good,” their second studio album. The upcoming album is slated for an October 23 release and “She’s Kinda Hot” is the first track from it.
Their sophomore album, to be released by Capitol Records, contains 14 songs. Their single “Fly Away” was made available for download when “Sounds Good Feels Good” became available for pre-order.
The band also performed “Jet Black Heart,” another song included in their album, for the first time in one of their concerts this month. The song was made available for download after “Fly Away.” Their latest single to be ready for download is “Money.”
