Jennifer Lawrence will be playing the role of the appearance-changing mutant Mystique for the third and last time in the “X-Men: Apocalypse” due to hit theaters on May 27, 2016.
J-Law first appeared as Mystique in “X-Men: First Class” shown in 2012 before reprising the role again in “X-Men: Days of the Future Past” last year. Both films were certified blockbusters and will culminate with the third movie of the trilogy to be shown next year.
The Oscar Winner is one of the busiest actresses in Hollywood today and even if she will not be involved in any popular superhero franchise, she will still get her fair share of movies in the years ahead.
Her fourth movie on “The Hunger Games,” which catapulted her to superstardom will be showing in November this year officially titled “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.” She is currently wrapping up work for her upcoming movie “Joy,’ directed by David O. Russell that would team her up again with actor Bradley Cooper for the fourth time.
Preparing for the 2015 Met Gala
Jennifer Lawrence was spotted late last week in Los Angeles looking cool and casual as she arrives at the airport, reports E! News.
She was apparently catching a flight for New York City in anticipation of her gig as co-host of the 2015 Met Gala slated on May 4.
Even in her casual clothes, “The American Hustle” actress looks quite stunning. She had her hair tied back in a loose ponytail. She was sporting a pair of aviator shades, a low-slung cropped back pants, and a crochet see-through top that she complemented with her studded loafer flats. He super lowrise pants also enabled her to flaunt her toned abs.
Jennifer Lawrence arrived at the airport without any companion and she tried to be inconspicuous as possible. She was also wearing minimal makeup although it is difficult for somebody very popular like her not to be noticed.
New York date
Meanwhile, Jennifer Lawrence was also spotted recently in a very popular New York City restaurant Tavern on the Green with boyfriend Chris Martin.
Witnesses said that the couple did not attempt to hide their date from fans as she even requested a centertable at the restaurant so that she could see the park.
Those who have seen the two said that Chris and Jennifer talked quietly but looked very happy in the company of each other. They have been dating since August last year and it seems that they are talking the relationship to the next level.
