2016 Subaru WRX is Still Very Much a Sports Car That Looks Like a Sedan

These safety features include the variable torque distribution all-wheel drive, the smart braking systems, and an advanced protection system.

The 2016 Subaru WRX is also never short on current technology, especially in its interiors. Its sport Lineartronic transmission features the SI drive to regulate throttle response with the shift mode.

All WRX models now upgrade to Subaru’s Starlink Multimedia system that features a 6.2-inch touchscreen and AM/FM/CD, HD radion, Bluetooth, a premium audio and SiriusXM satellite radio, voice-activated GPS navigation system, Starlink with AHA, automatic climate control, light-emitting diode (LED) headlights, keyless access and start, and rear-vision camera, notes KBB.

The Premium model also comes with an optional Starlink Multimedia Navigation system with 7-inch LCD screen with multi-touch controls.

Some of these features are even more pronounced on the high-end WRX STI model which Subaru says is one of the best-handling and best-performing vehicles in its class with its razor-sharp response and minimized under-steering issues.
