‘Wonder Woman’ to Cast Former ‘Harry Potter’ Star David Thewlis to Take on the Main Villain Role of Ares!

Based on the action figure, Ares is a venomous-looking character, looming large over the other displayed DC toys. Unlike Wonder Woman and Steven Trevor action figures, Ares’ face is fully covered while his body is in full armor that is why it is nothing like David Thewlis.

The mysteriousness of the Ares action figure also jibes with reports that his character will have a lot of CGIs in the movie.

In a related development, Warner Bros appears not yet ready to give the full details on the upcoming “Wonder Woman” film and the suspense only heightens the excitement and anticipation of the fans on the movie.
