Regarding the styling front, the wagon borrows most of its design aspects from the E63 Sedan. It comes with an inset hood, a 1.1inch wider stance along with a new front bumper design which was inspired by a jet wing. Inside, the wagon receives sports seats, performance steering wheel along with Nappa leather upholstery.
There are twin 12.3-inch display screens which can carry over from the regular E-Class sedan. According to Tobias Moers, the CEO of Mercedes-AMG GmbH, the new E63 wagon combines their brand’s hallmark driving dynamics with the high everyday practicality. It is not for nothing that this model has been a permanent fixture for 40 years in the AMG portfolio.
The powerful engine along with the intelligent all-wheel drive underpins their claim to always be at the forefront of development regarding performance. The wagon will make its world debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, and US Sales have been scheduled to kick off during this fall.
The E63 wagon comes with Drive Pilot, which is Mercedes’ suite of both active and passive safety systems, coming with semi-autonomous driving capabilities. This isn’t like your everyday run-of-the-mill family station wagon, and that is clear by the fact that the vehicle will be unveiled at the supercar-filled Geneva Motor show in March.
