Nintendo’s Switch, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim due to be released probably in the fall of this year. It will be the first time for Skyrim to be properly playable in transit since Bethesda has revealed the game’s very own handheld. The portable console comes with motion controls and Amiibo support.
Amazon US was advertising the game stating it will be released on November 28 when in fact the actual release date hasn’t been announced yet. It was later changed to December 29. The probable date will hold up for a while until Bethesda announces an official release date. What we’re sure of is that it will definitely launch this year and not “beyond the Holiday”.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was the winner of more than 200 Game of the Year awards. The legendary game, according to Bethesda Studios, allows you to be anyone and do anything in an open-world adventure. Furthermore, as it will now be released on the Nintendo Switch, it allows you to play it anywhere, at home on your TV or on the go.

The trailer was revealed during Bethesda’s press event. A Link amiibo was used to drop in a treasure chest. Seemingly contained within was link’s Master Sword, a Hylian shield. It also features exclusive Nintendo content, including special items and armors from games like Legend of Zelda. Now, you can dress up like Link from the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
A demonstration from E3 shows how you can swipe to swing your sword and hold up the other Joy Con to block it. At the same time, players could also use motion controls to air and fire arrows. It was also announced that Skyrim Nintendo Switch will include all the previously add-ons, Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn.

The storyline of the game revolves around The High King of Skyrim that has been murdered. There were alliances formed to claim the throne however amidst the conflict, a far more dangerous, ancient evil is awakened. Dragons have returned to Tamriel who were believed to be long lost to the passages of the Elder Scrolls. The future of Skyrim and the whole empire relies solely as they wait for the prophesized Dragonborn. The Dragonborn is believed to be a hero born with the power of The Voice, and the only one who can stand and maybe tame the dragons.
