Minecraft: Special Halloween Theme Texture Packs Available On Xbox One and Xbox 360

Minecraft is a free-roaming video game created by programmer Markus Persson. It was subsequently developed and published by the Swedish company Mojang from 2009.

Minecraft allows great creative experience to its players. It allows players to construct using textured cubes in a 3D world. Apart from construction, the players are free to explore, craft various objects as they please and engage in combat. Minecraft supports multiplayer gameplay.

The basic version of the game was released back in 2009. The upgrade from the alpha version to the full version, however, happened in 2011. It was immediately available in the Android Play Store and then in the Apple App Store.

Minecraft was released on the Xbox 360 as an arcade game in 2012. In 2013, it was released on the PlayStation 3 and in September this year on the PlayStation 4 and then finally after much waiting, on Xbox One.

Minecraft has come up with textured packs this Halloween for the players, on the Xbox One and Xbox 360. These Halloween theme texture packs are going to be released on 29th October. The texture packs this year, will give the game a spooky look, similar to last year.

This is a Halloween special feature and will cease to exist after a predefined time frame. The free Halloween pack is being launched with a themed Steampunk texture pack. This pack will cost you $1.00

This news came out on the internet without any official confirmation, but 4J Studios has confirmed it on Twitter with a sample image. This will help fans get an idea of how the texture pack will shape up. There has however been no official confirmation on whether PlayStation 3, 4 and Vita will get the same Minecraft version. There are hopes that since Microsoft now owns Minecraft, it might receive additional boosts.

Minecraft developer Allison Huynh submitted a report on the progress made with MyDream. It is an idea that fuses the creation element in Minecraft with the environment found in Journey and fusing the two with an RPG adventure.

The idea was an instant success in the beta version and this pooled in a lot of investors. Allison Huynh is really grateful to the investors for backing their project and idea and allowing it to develop from the nascent level.

Mojang, which released Minecraft in 2011, was purchased by Microsoft for $2.5Bn on September. Vu Bui, the Chief Operating Officer of Mojang said after Microsoft had bought the firm, that it will be very difficult to recreate the success they had with Minecraft. With talks of Minecraft 2 being on, the creators and developers feel that the magic will be difficult to recreate.
