No negative impact
Luke Hemmings and the 5 Seconds of Summer are still overly optimistic that the recent Twitter scandal will not hurt them or the chances of their worldwide tour, officially titled “Rock with Your Socks Out.”
The 5SOS world tour will begin with a concert at the MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal on May 4 and shall subsequently take them from mainland Europe to Northern Ireland, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, America, and Canada.
Their final show for their world tour is set on September 13 to be held at the Coral Sky Amphitheater in West Palm Beach in Florida.
5 Seconds of Summer ranks only second in terms of global popularity among boy bands, next only to the British boy band One Direction.
Although the popularity rankings could change especially considering the fact that One Direction is now just a quartet after the hasty departure of Zayn Malik in March. The group also has to contend with rumors that they will be disbanding at the end of the year when they complete their contractual commitments.
