Those who’ve managed to receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for their Desire 816 devices in India are reporting good results, and apparently the update works as expected, introducing all major changes brought about by Android 5.0 and making the device run smoother and more efficiently.
We can’t say for sure if the device will continue to be updated in a similar fashion or if this is the last major Android release it will see for a while, but in any case, it’s good to see that HTC are still supporting all of their major lines.
Of course, as hardware ages, it becomes more difficult to support it on newer versions of its operating system, even one that’s as optimized and generally lightweight as Android. Developers are usually doing their best to ensure that nobody gets left behind, but at some point a user should start thinking about an upgrade.
after downloading, it says that the files are corrupted..tried twice!
