Last season was a major cliffhanger thanks to the serial killer Mr. Scratch (Bodhi Elfman). Before the good guys even made out it out of their cars, spike strips were on the road that busted the wheels of the agents’ cars causing a huge wreck.

A giant 18-wheeler truck also plowed into them that left a lot of damage leading to question whether the people inside made it out alive or died.

Before the first episode with the title “Wheels Up” was released, there were several spoilers going around the web. In a sneak peek, Garcia played by Kristen Vangsness desperately and frantically trying to reach the phone of Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster) but the calls went straight to voicemail.

Together with Simmons (Daniel Henry), they suddenly stopped when they see just ahead of them of two wrecked vehicles.

In the preview, Prentiss was seating in the passenger seat where the truck went straight into. It turned out Emily survived and Scratch himself pulled her out to torture and subjected to his cruelties as he probes for answers and information. As a serial killer and probably a psychopath, he had no mercy at all and she was in no state to fight her way out.

Scratch pumped gas to Prentiss that made her believe her legs and arm are broken. As it turned out, he dosed her full of adrenaline to stop her heart but Emily knew the difference between death and probable life ahead as she had experience being dead before.

The adrenaline was enough to put her back to consciousness and even got close enough to attack him on the ear.

The rest of the agents didn’t escape unscathed but survived as well. J.J. had a nasty bleeding head with glass shards on his temple, David Rossi needs surgery with a wobbly leg and Dr. Tara was hospital bound with undisclosed injuries.

The only one who didn’t survive the crash was Stephen Walker. But fans kind of already had an idea that he didn’t make it out due to reports that producers let the actor go over a hiatus or some speculations due to a creative change in the show.

Reid and Luke come to try and rescue Prentiss. When running away from Luke, Scratch ended up dangling off the side of a building. When Luke saw him and tried to doubtingly save the serial killer, Scratch himself let go and fell to his death after the fall smashed his head hard enough on the ground.

With Scratch definitely dead, Hotch played by actor Thomas Gibson could probably return in BAU. Earlier, Hotch’s character was written out of the Season 12 due to some behavior of Gibson.

It was explained in the series that he entered a witness protection program because Scratch was stalking his son Jack. He loved being able to spend time with his son on a full-time basis and it seems that he’s not going to give up their relationship now for his old job.

Hotch could theoretically return and pick up where he left off since Mr. Scratch is no longer in the picture but the question was whether the producers would invite Gibson back.

Fans are missing the character and hoping the return of Thomas Gibson. But the events in the finale mean that the show is moving to a new exciting era with Scratch gone and Hotch free of responsibility and harm. As the series move forward with a new era, different stories can come up that can be more thrilling and exciting.

Hopefully it would be more bracing and sensational as the premiere.

The first episode which aired on September 27 started out with a documentary of the Empire’s label 20^th anniversary. However as we all know from the last season’s finale that Lucious (Terrence Howard) had an attempt to be assassinated.

Now what happens to the label when the aftermath of that event was Lucious’ memory being taken away, or they all say as amnesia. Further from forgetting everything about his self, his leg was amputated and had to deal with a new prosthetic leg.

Convenient for Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) as she becomes the one-in-charge of the label. Questions are asked about her involvement but could you really say Cookie was behind the assassination attempt? The reconfiguration of the Lyon family is vital at this season and personally I don’t think she was behind it.

Oscar and Golden Globe winner, Forest Whitaker joins the cast as Uncle Eddie, a music icon. He’s supposed to lend a hand to Lucious while he’s in recovery and he unites with Cookie to produce a song in honor of the 20^th anniversary of Empire’s label.

Actress Demi Moore also joins the cast as Claudia. She plays as Lucious’ rehab nurse and is perceived as a threat by Cookie. Moore stated in an interview that she has an unorthodox approach to her rehabilitation program.

She says that she’s trying to bring back the most pure self of him which was the real innocent, untainted part of Lucious. It seems that in five months of intervention, he had already gained a conscience, a soul, and an overall sense of decency.

Rumor Willis, Moore’s daughter, has been playing as Tory Ash and with a total of four episodes from last season. Now, producers say that she’s already part of the ensemble with a big story revolving around her on the second half of the season.

“We’ve got to keep these characters moving and growing, we’ve got to keep them feeling like themselves and keep the audience feeling as if they’re on a journey with us.”  ” says executive producer and showrunner Ilene Chaiken.

“At the same time, we’ve got to change the show from year to year in the way that life changes and we need to do that in the way that you have to in order to keep it fresh for both the actors and the audience,” she adds.

The focus of this new season is all about the Lyon family and their relationship. In the previous seasons, the producers and the audience felt overwhelmed by the guest stars’ storyline that they almost left out the center of the series which is the Lyon family.

This season will have a total of 18 episodes and with a crossover show with Daniel Fox’ show Star. Star’s main cast is Queen Latifah who made a brief appearance on the premiere unveiled a past connection to Lucious.

The series is becoming increasingly popular which was adapted from a Japanese light novel from the original works of Kugane Maruyama and illustrations by So-Bin via Enterbrain. The franchise already had 11 volumes released since 2012 and is becoming more well-known at the moment especially to the avid anime fans because of its entertaining and unique plot and high definition effects on TV.

For those who are unfamiliar of the series, the story sets in the future year 2138 where everything revolves around virtual reality gaming. One curious day, a popular virtual game called Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (DMMORPG) that almost everyone plays suddenly shuts down not knowing the reason why. However, Momonga, the main character did not log out when the game shut down and eventually he realized he cannot use the normal playing function or even quit.

Momonga is then transformed into a skeleton that also made him become the most powerful wizard. He was called Ainz Ooal Gown. In the real world, he feels alone and empty but inside the game some weird things happen to him that he decided to take over it and become the ruler of everything within.

Non Player Characters (NPC) also starts to feel emotions and interact with Momonga inside the virtual world.  At the end of the last season, Ainz Ooal Gown together with his band of NPCs who are followers of the Great tomb of Nazarik had just defeated a rebellion led by the Loli vampire.

There was a spin-off anime Pure Pure Pleiades and the Overlord OVA episode for fans that missed it. Overlord: Fushisha no O (Overlord: The Undead King) was the first compilation movie that was released in Japan on February 2017.

The second compilation film, Overlord: The Dark Warrior was released on March 2017 that gave the fans the first clue that a season 2 for Overlord Series is on its way. The two compilation anime movies are also the titles of the first two volumes of Maruyama’s original Overlord light novel series.

Season 1 of the anime television series concluded with 13 episodes adapted by the Madhouse. It aired between July 7 and September 29 2015.

It has been more than two years since the first season and fans are excited to know more about the second season. However it is not clear yet if the storyline would be continuous from the former season and or it would be longer than 13 episodes. But there are speculations that it will have 24-25 episodes since there are a lot of materials and plotlines to explore since the time it ended last 2015.

Scream is very much alive with a new plotline and cast and we’ve got the latest news and updates.

After a recent power battle in its production and executive team, the series will now feature an entirely new cast, a new showrunner, and a new creative team. There was a huge decline in ratings from season one to two that might be the reason why there’s a whole new team for the third season. MTV hopes that a reboot will spark renewed interest from fans in Scream.

Brett Matthews will join the team as the main show runner for the upcoming season. He has been credited with writing works from shows like The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural. The executive producers are Queen Latifah, Shakim Conpere and Yaneley Arty under their TV and Film Team, Flavor Unit Entertainment.

The horror mixed with comedy series will revolve around Deion Elliot who is a local community star with a tragic past. While looking forward to the future, his past comes back to haunt him and new threats affects him, his family and friends.

According to THR, Teen Wolf actor Tyler Posey will join the cast. He is a series regular who will play the role of Shane who dropped out of high school. He is supposed to be a drug dealer and party promoter who hustles for money. But it seems there’s more to him than anyone sees or realizes.

Meanwhile, another THR article has reported that Tyga and C.J. Wallace have also joined the new cast as series regulars. Tyga will play Jamal, Deion’s hustler brother. Wallace will have the role of Amir, born from super strict parents who expect him to climb the ladder of taking up the family business. At the same time, they want him to stay entangled and at a distance from distracting relationships.

Also included in the cast are Keke Palmer from Scream Queens, Giorgia Whigham from 13 Reasons Why, Jessica Sula from Skins and Giullian Yao Gioiello from Julie’s Greenroom.

Deion, a Michael B. Jordan-esque football player on track to score a college scholarship — that is, until a masked killer uses Deion’s darkest secrets against him, turning his life upside down and making him question his own sanity.

Liv is Deion’s cheerleader girlfriend, as beautiful as she is brilliant. She’s also down to lend a helping hand where needed, though her good intentions often land her in hot water.

Kym is the rebellious one of the group, always willing to say what everyone else is thinking. She’s organized and protective, two qualities that will serve her well when a killer starts targeting her friends.

Beth is a little different from her fellow seniors, sporting a goth look and a morbid collection of interests. A “walking encyclopedia of all things horror,” she’s compared to The Craft‘s Fairuza Balk.

Jamal Deion’s step-brother, despite hanging out with a rough crowd, he’s got a big heart and an undying loyalty to Deion.

Kevin Williamson’s Scream movies premiered in 2015. Scream: The TV Series had a 14 episode second season with two special Halloween episodes and ended last October 2016.

It is confirmed that Scream will return in March 2018 with a three night binge event for its six episodes.

Carrie had a rough time in the last season but hopefully, the two new add-ons in the series will help her find her way back. Season 6 ended with President Keane’s attempted assassination and shut Carrie out by being too paranoid feeling that she can no longer trust anyone close to her.

Morgan Spector will play as Dante Allen in the upcoming new season and will be a series regular. Allen is an old friend of Carrie who investigates and looks into the hordes of people that President Keane has detained after the last seasons’ assassination attempt.

On the other hand, recurring as a guest star in the next season, Mackenzie Astin will play Bill as Carrie’s brother-in-law. He quit his teaching job in the university to work for President Keane’s administration. Being relatives and all, maybe he’ll be helping Carrie reunite with President Keane’s good graces.

Just recently reported, Dylan Baker will also join the series as Senator Sam Paley, a Southwest politician who leads an assertive and aggressive investigation into the Keane administration. It is not yet confirmed if Baker will play with or against President Keane but investigating a president could certainly mean he’s up looking for skeletons in the closet of President Keane and her administration.

In addition to the new cast, President Elizabeth Keane played by Elizabeth Marvel is of course expected to return along with Linus Roache who plays David Wellington, Keane’s right-hand man. He has been promoted to series regular together with actors Jake Weber and Maury Sterling. Given Dar’s incarceration from the last season, it is still not confirmed if F. Murray will be back on the next season.

These actors have been placed in an attempt to fill the void of Rupert Friend. The killing of the beloved Rupert Friend had certainly outraged most of Homeland fans leading to an uproar in the social media and posting with hashtags, #NotOurHomeland.

The Emmy award thriller series is about a CIA Agent Carrie Mathison thinking a former marine sergeant from prison has turned and became part of the Al Qaeda group and is connected to a terror plot to be carried out on America. It eventually engaged them to a dangerous chasing game that puts America’s national security at risk.

Later on, Carrie gets promoted and was assigned to one of the most dangerous stations in the Middle East where she placed herself in the middle of the battle in the war on terror.

Then she became estranged with the CIA and puts herself on exile in Berlin after being disillusioned. She now returns in the states where she works for a foundation aiding Muslims living in America.

Homeland’s Season 7 will premiere on Showtime in the early 2018. They already began filming this September with the scenes shot from New York City to Central Virginia.

According to the official synopsis released, it seems that Jay played by Ed O’Neill have a lot of surprises in store for the family even as his morbid thoughts of supposedly his last few days on earth exasperates his children and the rest of the Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker clans. He forces the family to take a vacation on the houseboat to a lake for them to make more memories together.

It was earlier said in an interview by the Elite Daily with Jesse Tyler Ferguson who plays Mitchell that the whole crew went to Lake Tahoe just in time with an eclipse happening and there was a moment where they were all singing, Total Eclipse of the Heart. But it’s not yet certain if it is indeed in the episode but surely the eclipse storyline would be incorporated. Ohh, this should be exciting and fun to watch!

Meanwhile, is it possible that Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) will surprisingly run into an old flame around the lake or in some forest? The ex-lover will open up some wounds that he wanted to put in the past and cause some trouble between him and his beau Cam (Eric Stonestreet).

As for Cam though, he just needs to stay out of the sun at all costs which may not be that hard but the view and activities around the lake might be so tempting.

Another exciting scene to look forward for a laugh is most probably with Claire (Julie Bowen) and Phil (Ty Burell) and their opportune time to be adventurous in the woods.

Excursions of the two can include kayaking perhaps or a sexy humorous awkward quickie in the woods. I know this would reserve the audience tons of hysterical laughter.

For the younger kids though they may be the ones most excited about the trip, they eventually are the ones to be the most disappointed.

From the looks of the recent pictures released by the ABC, the clan seems to having quite an adventure in the lake. Together with the pictures they also released a synopsis for the premiere which was entitled, “Lake Life”.

In the season premiere, Jay forces their family to take their family vacation on a houseboat to a lake in an effort to create memories that will last long after he’s gone.

Meanwhile, Mitchell runs into an old flame that opens some old wounds; Cam has to stay out of the sun at all costs; Phil and Claire try out some adventurous excursions; and the kids’ quest for a good time may not be as fun as they expected.

From the splendid spoilers given possibly the whole storyline of the premiere above, we can all expect a definite laugh from all of us especially now that the family is going with new storylines.

Let us have a recap first on what happened on the first series which garnered a lot of praise from critics and viewers.

Dr. Gemma Foster, GP and senior surgery partner has been married to property developer Simon Foster for fourteen years. They live in Parminster with their twelve-year old son, Tom. Gemma discovered a long blonde hair on Simon’s scarf and a pink lip balm in his pocket eventually letting her figure out that he’s having an affair.

Simon never confirmed it but on his 40^th birthday party, Gemma found out through his other mobile phone photos of him and a 23-year old Kate Parks, a daughter of a local businessman.

Throughout the series, Gemma was confused whether she wanted to finally divorce her husband or will get back together. Until eventually resulted in her plotting sweet revenge on her filthy lying and cheating husband.

She quit her job at the end of the series but the ending of the last episode in series one is her giving CPR to a collapsed man after a heart attack and introduces herself as Doctor Foster.

Last week, fans tuned in with the return of writer Mark Bartlett’s drama, Doctor Foster. The episode started with Gemma dissolving her ring into a glass of acid. She also had to process the news that her ex, Simon played by Bertie Carvel was moving back to the neighborhood with his new wife and child.

But just this recent episode, even though how much Gemma and Simon loathe each other they did it again! And it was rather a wild romping with fuels of hate and suppressed passion all over. We’re not sure yet if Gemma filmed their sexy lovemaking in secret to blackmail Simon and show it to Kate but there would always be consequences.

On the opening episode, a mysterious package was given to Kate by Gemma which remained unopened. Will this be a sex tape of Gemma and Simon of their recent tryst? It is speculated that as the series progressed, the dynamic between the two women would change and head towards dark places.

On the other note, Simon just turned Tom against his mother and we don’t know why. Maybe Simon said something to their vulnerable son that made him believe Gemma was the true villain in the midst of their troubles.

Nevertheless, Tom is already spiraling out on his own with one incident of him forcing himself to a woman. This may not turn out to be a good place for Tom especially when he has seem-like psychopaths for parents.

Actor, Bertie Carvel however suggested that our heroine might be the villain in this series or probably the whole series. We’ll have to tune in for more!

The first series proved to be a hit with over 10-million viewers worldwide even with just five episodes. It received Bafta nominations for Best Miniseries and Best Leading Actress. Of course, our heroine from the show who captivated most of the audience, Suranne Jones won the award.

It’s always a cliché but I can’t help to say it, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

Doctor Foster airs on BBC One every Tuesday at 9 P.M.

The premiere episode is titled, “Smokey Putnam” and NBC has released its synopsis,

“With his criminal empire in ruins, a surprisingly carefree Red (James Spader) enlists Liz (Megan Boone) in an unlikely plan to simultaneously earn cash and deliver a new Blacklister to the Task Force. As Liz faces the new reality of working alongside her father, Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) finds himself in a precarious position and Tom (Ryan Eggold) weighs his options. Harry Lennix, Amir Arison, Mozhan Marnò and Hisham Tawfiq also star. Michael Aronov, James Carpinello and Aida Turturro guest star.”

This would be the first time that Red and Liz will be working together after finding out their father-daughter relationship. She also needs to get used to the idea that her mentor is also her father. Although this may not be a bad thing, but Red is a high-profile criminal and who wants a criminal father anyway? However, Red is portrayed differently on The Blacklist so he does have a likable character.

According to musictimes, in this season it is not certain yet if Liz will quit the Task Force and be heavily involved in her father’s criminal activities but being almost like her father and being trained by Tom (Ryan Eggold) for years, it may be possible that she would play both sides.

Another storyline that would probably happen is the first meeting of Liz and Katarina’s father. However, it all depends if Red even allows it to happen. He is not yet ready to confess everything to Liz and will not risk Dom spilling more of his secrets.

Even though it was already confirmed that he was Liz’ real father, he may not be entirely honest. There was a scene where he went to the farm looking for a suitcase that apparently contains skeleton pieces of an unknown person. So it’s still may be possible he’s not Liz’ real father.

On the sneak peek trailer of the Season 5 for The Blacklist, Red still wasn’t able to get the suitcase because Tom already had it. And in the last episode of the fourth season finale, Tom was instructed by Mr. Kaplan to deliver it to Liz. But with the show’s twists and turns, it may not even reach Liz at all.

For those who are unfamiliar about the movie, (warning, spoilers!) A highly skilled, internationally renowned American street basketball team called Jabberwock comes to Japan and plays a friendly match with a Japanese university team Strky. However, after the Japanese basketball team suffers a crushing defeat (86-6), the team members of the Jabberwock boasts of their strength, became cocky and starts to mock the Japanese team.

Their insults angered and outraged Riko’s father, Kagetora and so he gathers a team made up of the five members from Teikou Junior High’s All-Star Team, the Generation of Miracles plus Kuroko and Kagami called Vorpal Swords from Seirin High, to take revenge against Jabberwock. The movie takes place a year after the Winter Cup and during Kuroko and Kagami’s second year in high school.

However the two teams, Generation of Miracles and Vorpal Swords had a long history of rivalry between them. Will they be able to put aside their differences to finally defeat the conceited Jabberwock and thus prove themselves? Furthermore, Kagami receives an offer from an old friend that can change the course of his life forever.

Well, I can’t tell you the ending now because I think you have to watch the movie to see what happened and to know the results of the match. There must be a reason why this is such a hit in the anime world.

The movie is adapted from the short sequel manga, “Kuroko no Basket – EXTRA GAME”. It is based on the manga series written and illustrated by Tadatoshi Fujimaki from 2008-2014. From 2012-2015, it was adapted into Anime TV series by the Production I.G. It had a total of 75 episodes. 3 compilation videos and now the theatrical movie released on March 18.

However, even though The Last Game was based on sequel manga Extra Game, the movie featured a story originally written by Fujimaki.

Is it real life, or is it just fantasy? This anime got us hooked from the very beginning because it is both. On one hand, we have animated characters, their plots, trials, and tribulations, while on the other, we have a real, live band that performs original songs that can be heard in every episode of this anime.

For those of you who haven’t heard about it yet, Dream Festival is a Japanese multimedia franchise that consists of a band, mobile app, an arcade game and an anime. All bound up, it is called “2.5 idol project”

What got us hooked was the anime that premiered in September 2016.

In the anime, we follow the story of Kanade Anamiya, who is in his second year of high school but has suddenly been scouted by Haruto Mikami, who is a legendary idol from D-Four Productions. In spite of his initial reluctance, Kanade decides to audition. Surprise, surprise, he gets accepted into D-Four’s Rookie Idol division, where everyone has one identical goal, and that goal is to make their CD debut. We find out that the only way for anyone to get their debut is for them to win the agency’s competition Dream Festival. Sure enough, Kanade can’t do it alone, so he gets band mates. Only a strong band will be able to win Dream Fest, and Kanade is looking to find friends among his colleagues, rookie idols. We get to see how they prepare themselves every day, how they work on perfecting their performances.

This anime first caught our interest with its music, and then with its plot. Every character got an episode that focused on why they wanted to become an idol. And, the anime even introduced a bit of “magic” to it by having fans use Dream Cards which have printed outfits to make the singers change clothes in the middle of the concert through a very Sailor Moon-esque transformation animation. Of course, the anime does not push for logic in regards to those cards (also known as Dorika) and we have no actual idea how it is supposed to work. But we know that the fans shoot their cards into the air and, if an idol catches a card, their clothing will change to match the image on the card.

Interestingly, each and every one of DearDream has their own official real life Twitter account. Not to mention the merch that they are pushing. In fact, Dream Festival is trying really hard to create a financial success story for itself. Of course, they are putting most of their efforts in the home field – Japan. Not only are they selling Dorika cards in real life (of course, without the magical clothes-changing effect) but are also creating video games for fans to play.

Season 2 is set, and here’s what we found out

In this season, there will reportedly be two new idol units, who will compete with Dear Dream and KUROFUNE for glory and fame. So what we are wondering now is – will Kanade and his friends be able to handle the competition?

There is a chance that KUROFUNE is done with, and that Keigo and Yuto will go their separate ways. Also, we heard that the mystery behind Ryo will be revealed.

Luckily for us, the entire main voice cast from season one is back to give life to their characters. There will be some newcomers in the form of voice actors for new idol units ACE and Sankishi. These characters include Eiji, voiced by Junji Majama, Asuma, voiced by Tatsuhisa Suzuki, Chikage, voiced by Saotome Atsushi Abe, Makoto, voiced by Fumihiko Tachiki, Haruto, voiced by Toshiyuki Morikawa, and Ichika, voiced by Hikaru Morikawa.

So, if you love boyband/bishonen/idol anime – this will be your cup of tea, and the upcoming season will have you psyched. But remember, if you are looking for a serious, gritty storyline, you are not going to find it here.

This is a very light anime that will keep you entertained for a while. The characters are lovable and the conflicts do not feel forced.

Season 2 named Dream Festival R is scheduled to air on October 6, and we can’t wait to see what happens next, and to hear new songs that they have prepared for us!
