As the ongoing Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2015 at San Francisco, California is not showing any sign that Apple would be launching its iPod Touch 6th Generation as rumors says it, it is now almost sure that the American tech’s latest media player will be launched in September along with the company’s latest set of iPhones.
In its recent report, the Gospel Herald cited that Apple will unveil its iPod Touch 6th Generation this coming fall with possible starting selling prices of $250 and $300 depending on the variant.
The coming of the Apple iPod Touch 6th Generation this year actually marks the third year since the American tech company launched to the retail markets the iPod Touch 5th Generation in 2012.
Unless Apple comes up with another ruse to delay the device’s launching, the iPod Touch 6th Generation is good to go for September unveiling and subsequent roll out to the retail markets.
Almost a two-in-one device
The upcoming Apple iPod Touch 6th Generation is expected to be like the usual iPod but is converged with an iPhone, making it like a two-in-one device.
This means that the features of the upcoming music device from the American tech giant shall combine those that were highlighted on the iPod Touch 5th Generation released to the retail markets in 2012 and the latest iPhones.
The Apple iPod Touch 6th Generation is expected to be unveiled in the fall of this year and will likely make it to the retail markets around September, which will be simultaneous to the roll-out of the next iPhones from the Cupertino-based tech company.
While there have been previous skepticisms about the launching of the iPod Touch 6th Generation as some believe that the iPod Touch 5th Generation is to be the last media player to come out from Apple, the deluge of information, features and specifications that have already been released since last year, really makes the iPod Touch 6th Generation a plausible reality.
Since Apple has not been making any official statement to either confirm or deny the speculations about the iPod Touch 6th Generation, many argue that it has been typical of Apple to be mum on all its gadgets and devices prior to their launchings. The company usually makes official statements during or after its product launches.
Loaded with great features
In addition to its water-resistant and Siri features, Apple is said to be putting a lot of groundbreaking features on the music device to ensure that it will have a captured market once it’s released this coming September.
Accordingly, the iPod Touch 6th Generation shall feature Apple’s mobile payment system, the Apple Pay. The device shall be powered by an A9 microprocessor, which is way better than the chipset currently being used in the manufacture of the iPhone 6.
Apple will release a new iPod touch but up to know no one knows the actual specs. However here are several options
1.apple will release one size only 4.7inch. Leaving time and room for a newer version with larger size as a option in future
2. There will be no sd memory card slot. Apple will not sacrifice it’s storage for third party memory makers to make money and loose potential cloud storage income or chances of memory card slot being able to damage the player and receive additional repairs
3 this item is a stepping stone towards future apple products and will be a important category as to not help grow a new competitor who will and might build a similar Eco system with a music player
4 the parts will be available as iPhone 6 6/s sales decrease in time
All in all it will be announced around sept 2015 and true rumors should start to emerge around end of July last week starting
