An alleged trailer of “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” has recently been leaked online and those who were fortunate to have seen the teaser say that it already features most of the members of the Justice League including Aquaman and The Flash.
The leaked trailer of the highly-anticipated superhero movie based on DC Comics was supposedly posted on the web-based TV and movie bulletin board 4chan and featured the three main superhero stars including Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, as well as other members of the Justice League including Aquaman, The Flash, and Cyborg.
Although unofficial, the trailer could be DC’s answer to the latest and third trailer of the upcoming movie “Avengers: Age of Ultron” which showed the collection of Marvel superheroes released early last week.
However, the alleged trailer of “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” was pulled down from the 4chan site by Warner Bros even before fans and enthusiasts could even see it, reports KDrama Stars.
It was the second instance when a supposed trailer of “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” was leaked on the 4chan website.
Just before Christmas, an alleged trailer for the movie has been leaked online via 4chan. But there is no trace of the trailer on the site soon thereafter. Not even on YouTube, which led many fans to believe then that Warner Bros may have pulled the plug on the leaked teaser to avoid premature exposure of the synopsis of the film.
The supposed leak trailer indicated how Batman got out of retirement from crime fighting after witnessing the destruction of the city as Superman and some Kryptonians fight and made the earth their battleground.
Official release of trailer
Up until this time, there is no official word from Warner Bros when will it officially release the first trailer of “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.”
Although at this point in time, it looks likely that the trailer could come out on May 15 simultaneous with the opening of “Mad Max: Fury Road.” Still, Warner Bros has yet to confirm this. And if the movie trailer still does not come out by then, it is almost sure that Warner Bros will released the trailer come the Comic Con 2015 in July.
Early this year, there have been speculations that the trailer of “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will come out during Super Bowl 2015 on February 1. But that did not happen.
Subsequently, it was mentioned that it will come out with the release of the movie “Jupiter Ascending” on February 6 which still did not happen.
There is already no opportunity for Warner Bros to launch the official trailer this March or April giving it only two remaining options in May to do it.
The first one is the showing of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” on May 1, and the second, the showing of “Mad Max: Fury Road” on May 15. For obvious reason, Warner Bros would not compromise DC’s pride by releasing the trailer of its movie along with a Marvel film.
