Yoshimitsu Emerges to ‘Tekken 7’ Looking More Like a Cross Between an Alien and an Octopus

Yoshimitsu has been a classic fighter in the fighting video game “Tekken” series and every time he comes out, he always takes on a significant redesign and a new look.

Game developer Bandai Namco has released Yoshimitsu again for “Tekken 7” along with a character trailer that showed him looking more like a cross between an alien and an octopus. Obviously, he looks creepier than ever.

The character trailer showed Yoshimitsu still keeping his fighting style because he has the same core move set along with his signature pogo stick-like hopping on the tip of his sword, details Gamespot.

Bandai Namco has announced “Tekken 7 as early as last year but it has been rumored that the video game will be officially launched at the San Diego Comic Con event in California although the developer has yet to confirm it.

However, subsequent information that came out indicated that the game will actually be released exclusively on the PlayStation 4 during the Evolution Championship Series (Evo) 2015 to be held in Bally’s / Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino on July 17 to 19.

Apparently, the much-anticipated Bandai Namco game is included in the game lineup for Evo 2015 which includes “Ultra Street Fighter IV,” “Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3,” “Super Smash Bros” for Wii U, “Guilty Gear Xrd – SIGN -,” “Killer Instinct,” “Mortal Kombat X,” “Persona 4,” “Arena Ultimax,” and “Super Smash Bros Melee.”

But until Bandai Namco makes an official confirmation on the launching or official release date of “Tekken 7” on the PS4, these dates are just speculations at this time.

24 playable characters

In March, Bandai Namco released the arcade version of “Tekken 7” and has likewise added three new characters to it beginning end-March including Jin Kazama, Devil Jin, and Josie Rizal.

But thus far, there are now 24 confirmed playable characters for “Tekken 7.” They are Alisa, Asuka, Bryan, Claudio, Devil Jin, Dragunov, Feng, Heihachi, Hwoarang, Jin, Josie, Katarina, Kazumi, Kazuya, King, Lars, Law, Leo, Lili, Lucky Chloe, Paul, Shaheen, Steve and Xiaoyu. It can be noted that

Yoshimitsu actually becomes the 25th confirmed character for “Tekken 7” unless Bandai Namco decides to put him in in place of another confirmed character. But there is no word from the developer if Yoshimitsu is a replacement or an additional character in the fighting video game.

Among the confirmed playable characters, there is only limited information on Claudio Serafino except for the fact that he is an Italian and he uses the Sinus Styled Purification Sorcery for his fighting style.
