Customization has also been given a much bigger focus in this title, not only allowing players to create their custom fighters and arenas, but there are even achievements that encourage that and will hopefully make it an even more prominent feature.
Which is certainly good to see, because the industry as a whole has been moving in some worrying directions with regards to customization in games lately. More and more attention is being given to paid DLC and other expansions that add content to the games for a charge, while companies have been making the experience more limited for players who like to customize their games.
It looks like “WWE 2K16” will not follow that trend, and it will give players the opportunity to enjoy a truly customizable, exciting experience that can give them a lot of fun for their money.
There’s a reason why the franchise has managed to stay popular for so long, and it’s not just about the high quality of its gameplay and its high production values – although those are certainly helping a lot. 2K is a studio that knows what its players want, and they are very much in touch with their community, adding the kinds of features that players want to see and focusing on the right aspects in their game design.
