But India is not just anywhere in the world because it is the world in itself, with a culture that is unique and diverse. It is home to festival shopping, family get-togethers, big fat weddings, or back to back business meetings, Indians are always on the go.
That’s why riders have always asked the company if they could hold onto their Ubers while they are out and about, and that is why the company decided to launch the UberHire, an Uber that takes care of all the travel needs of its passenger or passengers for the day.
Just like Uber, UberHire is available on-demand, to let one explore and travel around cities knowing that his Uber will wait for him.
UberHire also works in much the same way as Uber because the service is already built-in to the app. The user must first open his Uber app on his smartphone or tablet. He needs to set his pickup location and request the ride.
The Uber will subsequently be at his service. He will see his driver’s details straight away, along with the details of the car to be used during the service.
At the end of his trip, total fare shall be calculated based on the distance and duration of his trip. He can pay cash and receive an e-receipt from UberHire.
Once UberHire succeeds in India, it is likely that Uber will replicate the service in different parts of the world soon after.
