All in all, this is a show that doesn’t take its drama lightly, and it knows how to shake up its viewers quite strongly. The producers have been taking care to pace the development of the episodes in a way that gives fans some breathing room between the more dramatic moments, but there’s only so much that they can do in the end.
Is anyone else other than Jessie and Sam going to be killed off in this season? This is a worrying question that has been bothering fans for quite a while now, and it’s probably safe to expect at least one more harsh development during this new season.
Various spoilers have been coming out lately too, some of which paint a very grim picture for season 6, but the writers should at least throw in some more touching moments here and there to make up for that.
After all, it’s a show that also knows how to play with its fans’ feelings in quite the intense way and it’s definitely no stranger to bringing a tear to the eye with some more beautiful moments. It’s the constant contrast between beautiful and ugly that has so many people excited about “The Walking Dead” in general, and hopefully this trend is going to continue with full force in season 6 too.
