The network producers were said to have been so worried on the spinoff series’ low ratings that they have reportedly entertained the notion that Teresa Giudice, the lead actress of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” may no longer be as popular as before anymore and that she does not have that too many fans anymore too.
They averred that the spinoff series is the first time in nearly 15 months that fans were able to finally hear from Teresa while behind bars during the final months of her 15-month incarceration at the Danbury Correctional. But the low ratings apparently indicated that fans were not interested.
However, it is possible that fans were already aware that Teresa will not be featured in the spinoff series in her actual self because she was just in the show through phone calls, which is why they decided that the specials were almost like Teresa was not there at all.
The spinoff series focused more on Joe, Teresa’s husband, and their four daughters trying to cope up with her absence in the household.
Filming at the Danbury Correctional has been disallowed which is likely the reason why fans of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” were hardly interested in the spinoff series. It is possible that to some, watching the TV special would only make them miss Teresa all the more or that the series is really not the same without Teresa in it.
