‘The Elder Scrolls 6’ Could Be Set in Any of the Four Unexplored Provinces of the Tamriel Continent

Most of the fans of the fantasy role-playing game “The Elder Scrolls 6” are already looking forward to its possible reveal in the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015 set this June by game developer Bethesda based on previous reports.

Bethesda did say that one of their showcased games at the E3 2015 is a role-playing game but the developer did not confirm which one between “The Elder Scrolls 6” or “Fallout 4” will the company be presenting.

As much as there are many gamers who are looking forward to the possible launching and release of game details for “Fallout 4,” there is also much anticipation and expectations from the fans and gamers of “The Elder Scrolls 6,” since the last installment of the game “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” happened four years ago.

Focusing on the location

Instead of second-guessing Bethesda for its plans in the upcoming E3 2015, the Geek Snack decided to zero in instead on the possible location of the next installment of the very successful “The Elder Scrolls” game series.

According to the site, there are plenty of possible locations for “The Elder Scrolls 6” since there are still a number of untapped possibilities that were not covered by the first five games of the series.

The continent of Tamriel has nine different provinces but the five previous installments of the game only fully explored two thus far – Skyrim and Cyrodill. The third installment also had Morrowind as a location, which also offered a glimpse of the island of Vvardenfell and the capital of Mournholod. Also explored partially in previous instalments are parts of High Rock and Hammerfell, and also Daggerfall.

Thus, it is likely that the setting of “The Elder Scrolls 6” will be on the southernmost region or those four provinces of Tamriel which have not been explored yet including Summerset Isles, Valenwood, Elswyr, and Black Marsh.

If previous rumors are true that “The Elder Scrolls 6” will be called ‘Argonia,’ then it is likely that the game will take place in Black Marsh since it is home to the Argonians. But Bethesda has yet to confirm this though.

Still, the Khajit province of Elsweyr would be an even better location for “The Elder Scrolls 6” because of its tropical environment, lush rain forests, and harsh deserts, which are quite the place to explore for gamers.

Valenwood is least likely to be chosen as setting because it lacks variety since the place is basically inhabited by peaceful and nature-loving Bosmers.

But the Altmer province of Summerset Isle is a good option for Bethesda to consider because both its people and lands have so much more to offer to gamers in terms o exploration and excitement. It can be recalled also that the Altmers were portrayed as antagonists in the game’s fifth installment so getting their side of the story for “The Elder Scrolls 6” would surely be interesting for gamers.

The Geek Snack cites that although it is pushing for Elswery as the possible location for “The Elder Scrolls 6,” it has admitted nonetheless that Summerset Isle would be the best location from the four southernmost provinces of Tamriel for the upcoming game.
