If game developer Electronic Arts (EA) is to be asked which football video simulation game is the best there is in the market today, there is no doubt that its answer would be the FIFA video game, even if the current FIFA 15 appears to be reeling from the Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2015 football game developed by Konami.
What makes PES 2015 stand out among football gamers and enthusiasts is its captivating gameplay, which Konami finetuned further with one-touch passing system as well as having that seamless flow to it that enable players to feel the game like they are out on the football field themselves.
PES 2015 is likewise very competitive too which what makes it more exciting to gamers. That’s in addition to the fact that it actually features the best football players in the game too including Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid and Lionel Messi of Barcelona, among other stars too.
Konami has made the game very easy to learn but hard to master which speaks a lot about how competitive it can really be.
What’s more, the Japanese game developer always comes up with regular updates the way it is happening in the actual football competition like special tournaments, trades, new players, and even new stadiums.
Thus far, the only downside to PES 2015 as far as gamers are concerned is that there are occasional in-game framerate drops thereby affecting its overall performance. But it is nothing that a patch or an update from Konami cannot be addressed since it is more of a software glitch rather than a hardware problem.
Time for FIFA 2016
While EA would not admit that FIFA 15 is getting a clean beating from PES 2015 as evidenced by gamer comments and reviews, the fact that its successor is already being primed for release this year on the gaming consoles means that EA would like to arrest the downward spiral of its current football video game.
FullFIFA clearly stated that FIFA 15, despite undergoing major improvements in the past, still has numerous areas that needed to be addressed.
EA intends to address those areas by launching the FIFA 16 in the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015 to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on June 16 to 18. It is expected that the game would be released to the retail markets towards the end of September.
The game developer has yet to make any statement with regards to FIFA 16 but accordingly, it will come with a more enhanced gameplay on offer with a touch of realism to make every gamer experience a lot more realistic.
Just like with PES 2015, FIFA 16 will also feature new squads, stadiums, coaches, players, and staff too. EA expects to further emphasize the emotional intelligence of the game by giving it a more realistic appeal.
There have been rumors lately that one of the advancements in FIFA 16 is the artificial intelligence of the goalkeeper so players should expect to see goalkeepers standing in the center circle during the game.
Despite being the newer version upon launched, FIFA 16 will have a lot of catching up to do with PES 2015 and even when it is officially released to the retail markets, the latter will still be able to hold its own against the former.
