Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Release Date This Summer And More!

Microsoft has been working very hard when it comes to getting people to notice the Surface Pro device with their wallet. Even though it is one of the more expensive tablet hybrids you can buy today, it is one that comes with a full version of the Windows operating system and the ability to run apps from the app store. The first couple versions of the device were not going to be making anyone money and Microsoft made headlines when it had to write off millions due to poor sales.

It was back to the drawing board for Microsoft and when the third version hit the market, there seemed to be a different look about the tablet and the sales picked up much faster this time around. Microsoft is looking to switch things up a little bit with the new Windows 10 that is about to be released next month and maybe that is also a good time to bring a brand new version of the Surface Pro to the market.

The internet has been buzzing about the Surface Pro 4 since it was announced and most of the noise was about how the device was going to be so much better and the fact that Windows 10 will be installed on it has gotten plenty of press. Windows 10 will be released at the end of July this year and that has people wondering when they are going to see the tablet hybrid.

According to source, the Surface Pro 4 is supposed to be released right alongside the Windows 10 software on the 29th of July. This does not mean that it will be the very same day, however, it does mean that by the end of summer of this year, you will be able to get your hands on the Surface Pro 4. A conservative guess would be that by the end of October, you should be able to purchase one in a store or online. Pre-orders for the device will be available sooner, as usual, but that date has not been announced at this time. The Surface Pro 4 looks good, based on the rumored specs and speculation and it could be the one time it comes close to taking some sales away from Apple and the iPad Air 3.

The Apple iPad Air 3 should be released sometime in the third quarter this year and that means the dates are going to fall very close to one another. Of course, Apple has been killing in the sale department when it comes to tablets these days, but as it was mentioned earlier, Microsoft might have finally found the right combination with the Surface Pro 4. Other than the Surface Pro 4, one source is claiming that the tablet hybrid will be released the same day as the Lumia 940 and 940 XL.

  1. Been so interested with the surface pro ever since. Only reason I shy away from it is the non repairable state it’s in. Why can’t they just make these products internals be user accessible? Is it that hard for this hardware platform to have screws and just have a security sticker that will void warranty when it is tampered with?
