According to Geek Snack, Kojima was at first hesitant that a Mother Base gameplay be included but the game eventually got it. In fact, it was already announced by Konami in the game’s Twitter account that the highly-anticipated gameplay is included and details of it are bound to come out soon.
The open world stealth video game is expected to be released on September 1 in gaming platforms such as the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and the Xbox One. The PC version of the game is expected to be available two weeks prior to its official release.
Recently, the Japanese PlayStation Store declared the download sizes for the game’s PS3 and PS4 versions. Evidently, the download sizes this time were a lot smaller compared to previous releases which means it won’t take up much of gamers’ time before they download the full game.
Continuing from a cliffhanger prologue from last year’s “Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes” that eventually lead to the main storyline for the upcoming game, Kojima is said to have developed the game into the best version of any Metal Gear Solid game. Last month, the “Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain” gameplay trailer was unveiled during E3 2015, and eventually making it available online as well. The game will be available for play during the upcoming Gamescom 2015 to be held at Cologne, Germany this month.
