Luke Hemmings and 5SOS to Go On World Tour Amid Twitter Scandal

Luke Hemmings and 5 Seconds of Summer will start their worldwide tour on May 4 amid a recent Twitter scandal involving a drummer from the group of UK superstar Robbie Williams.

Accordingly, the Australian rock group stole the drummer from the group of Robbie Williams and subsequently posted the image of themselves and their new drummer on Twitter and even bragged about it.

The tweet drew various reactions from social media with many of them bordering on the negative as it was indeed an improper act for the Australian rock group to display their underground exploit and be proud about it.

Still, because of the huge number of fans of 5 Seconds of Summer, their supporters eventually overwhelmed the negative commenters, trying their best to help their idols overcome the Twitter scandal that they have put themselves into.

The good thing about the Twitter scandal is that 5SOS eventually owned up to its mistake and expressed their sincerest apology to Robbie Williams.

In their latest tweet, the band said that they are sorry to Robbie for stealing his drummer and they hope that his band’s tour would hardly be affected by it. They added that they hope to see him (Robbie) soon perhaps to offer their personal apologies.

Optimistic

Luke Hemmings and the 5 Seconds of Summer are still overly optimistic that the recent Twitter scandal will not hurt them or the chances of their worldwide tour, officially titled “Rock with Your Socks Out,” notes Fashion N Style.

The 5SOS world tour will begin with a concert at the MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal on May 4 and shall subsequently take them from mainland Europe to Northern Ireland, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, America, and Canada.

Their final show for their world tour is set on September 13 to be held at the Coral Sky Amphitheater in West Palm Beach in Florida.

5 Seconds of Summer ranks only second in terms of global popularity among bands, next only to One Direction. Although that could change especially considering the fact that One Direction is now just a quartet after the hasty departure of Zayn Malik in March. The group also has to contend with rumors that they will be disbanding at the end of the year when they complete their contractual commitments.
