‘Kingdom Hearts 3’ Co-Director Confirms that the Game Shall Not Feature the World of Final Fantasy

What seems confirmed already are Mt. Olympus from the animated feature film “Hercules,” the Kingdom of Corono from “Tangled,” and San Frantokyo from “Big Hero 6.”

There are speculations that Square Enix and Disney might give in to huge fan requests to include the worlds of “Zootopia” and “Frozen.”

However, these two remain as speculation at this time pending the confirmation from either Square Enix or Disney and both companies would not likely do so because that would spoil part of the main features of the game.

Meanwhile, a gamer and critic recently stated that the new gameplay footage of “Kingdom Hearts 3” has given him the same feelings of wonder and intrigue that he experienced when he first came across the franchise 13 years ago.

He recalled that it was the desire of “Kingdom Hearts” director Tetsuya Nomura to make a game that shall compete with “Final Fantasy VII” and “Super Mario 64” that the development of the “Kingdom Hearts” franchise came to be.

He was told by Nintendo President back then Satoru Iwata that the only way he could beat match or beat a game like “Super Mario 64” is if he would get characters that are well known as those found in Disney. And so he did.
