June Will be a Big Month for PlayStation Plus Members as Free Triple A Game Title Likely

As June will be the month for the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015 to be held at the Los Angeles convention center on June 16 to 18, Sony Computer Entertainment also wants to make a big splash among PlayStation Plus members.

E3 2015 is a special event for game console owners so expect game developers and console makers to come up with interesting releases in June.

Word has it that the PlayStation maker is looking to offer at least one triple A game title for free to PlayStation Plus members next month, reports the Christian Today.

Sony Computer Entertainment has yet to make an official pronouncement or statement regarding its planned June 2015 free games line up, but sources believe that the gaming company would include one triple A game title in honor of the E3 2015 event.

Missing a triple A game title

The last time that Sony released a triple A game title for PlayStation Plus members was in December when it offered “Injustice: Gods Among Us.”

PS Plus members have since been missing a free triple A game title as most of the free games that come out in the following months were mostly from independent game studios.

As Sony would likely make the announcement towards the last few days of May regarding its June free games for PlayStation Plus members, gamers have resorted to speculations about the possible triple A game title that the gaming company may include.

But most PlayStation Plus members would really like to see several big-budgeted and triple A video games like “Driveclub: PS Plus Edition” from Evolution Studios, the beat-em up platform game “Knack” from SCE Japan, and perhaps the first-person shooter game “Killzone: Shadow Fall” from Guerilla Games.

Instead of giving preview to its June free game line-up for PlayStation Plus members, Sony recently disclosed the list of video games which PlayStation is currently offering at huge discounts for PlayStation Plus members for the month of May.

Currently being offered as great deals in the PlayStation Store are the PlayStation 4 edition of “Alien: Isolation” that comes with a Season Pass Bundle, for only $36 instead of the $89.99; the “Alien: Isolation” Season Pass for only $12 instead of the $29.99; “Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag Gold” for only $24.99 instead of $49.99; the “Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag Gold” Season Pass for $9.99 instead of $19.99; and “Battlefield Hardline” deluxe edition for only $34.99 instead of its original retail price of $69.99.

The PlayStation blog currently has the list of the other games that Sony is giving away at special discount prices for PlayStation Plus members for the month of May.
