Jaguar Land Rover to Possibly Get a Production Plant in Eastern Europe? Let’s See

Currently, the company has three production facilities in the UK alone, as well as a new engine facility. Two of the manufacturing plants are operating at full capacity at the moment, and the third one in Castle Bromwich has just received a significant financial injection as the facility is gearing up for the production of the Jaguar XF.

The company managed to build nearly half a million vehicles in total last year, and they’re hoping to increase production to actually jump over the 500,000 bar for this year. They’re still far behind the big German companies that dominate the market and keep producing more than 2 million cars per year though, but at the current tempo, they have a real chance of catching up soon.

But to get there, Jaguar Land Rover need more production facilities, especially ones running at an optimized cost, and the new one in Eastern Europe is expected to bring out at least 250,000 additional units to the market per year. A significant improvement by itself, but it remains to be seen if it will turn out to be true.
