Along with all the hopeful dreams of the fans, Alan Menken has hinted that Galavant might have the last Broadway follow up. It is an idea that has been confirmed by John Hoberg as well. He stated that if they do manage to get a renewal of the lease, then the show would be coming back and it could “eliminate or change” a former character if they are not available then.
This hints at Sasse not being important to continue the show. However, it is him who has gathered the fan base till now, and it is still unclear to the fans as to how would the production come about if Sasse was eliminated from the picture.
