Galavant Season 3: Will the Constant Nagging by the Fans Bring a Season 3? Let’s See

Fans have been expecting a return of Galavant’s 3^rd season or a musical of the same despite being canceled by ABC in May. Apart from that, despite every other element of the show agreeing on a new project for the title, Joshua Sasse is the reason why there won’t be a much-awaited continuation of the show.

This is so because Joshua Sasse, who plays the titular character, is already hooked on to another musical comedy called “No Tomorrow” and has been released from all commitments to the franchise. Due to this, the viewers who have been waiting for the happily ever after of Galavant will have to be disappointed. The show has already gathered positive reviews and good ratings, making it a potent long-running show and Sasse plays one of the lead roles in the series.

Due to this, the knight of the Galavant series will be cutting his ties with the franchise altogether. This means that even if there a musical or season 3 possible, it won’t make sense at all due to the main lead not being associated with the show anymore. But if he agrees to come back for one last musical, then it will make the end of the show unimaginably popular.

Not just Sasse, but other cast members have also moved on to different projects since the cancellation which has made the belief of season 3 even slimmer than it was before. Considering that everyone has moved on already and gathered their projects to make their schedule very occupied, the remainder of the possibility has also vanished.

The first reason being that Galavant caters to a happily ever after the song which tells the story of Galavant finding his true love, the princess of his life. Having made that song, it only seems to have raised the hopes of the fans to expect something that might not happen.

The second reason is that this show is not like a Disney theme wherein the women are shown under a weak and naïve light. The men and women are shown in a setting where both are equally powerful, and the third reason is that the show is for adults, which makes it one of the very few of these musicals becoming popular to this extent. The twists and turns of the show are brought forth in a musical way which had a unique fanfare.

There has also been a petition in the running for the producers to reconsider their decision. The fans have made the statement “We LOVE Galavant, and we NEED #MoreGalavant. Please renew for season3” very popular on the networking sites. However, the petition did not gain over 25,000 supporters furthermore assuring the cancellation of the show not being a naïve decision after all.
