Fallout 4 Unsanctioned Leaks Show Game’s Graphics and Animations Looking Flat and a Bit Off!

It was actually Pete Hines, vice president of PR and marketing of Bethesda Softworks, who confirmed through a tweet on October 26 that “Fallout 4” would indeed be made pre-loadable a few days before the game’s launching day on November 10.

He added that gamers should watch out for the announcement of the exact day and time when the game will be ready for preloading on the PC, the Xbox One, and the PlayStation 4.

Bethesda did not specify exactly what day the pre-loading will go live, but gamers can already start clearing out some of their hard drive space while waiting for the official go-signal.

“Fallout 4” will take up between 28GB to 35GB of storage on gaming consoles and the PC so that’s a whole lot of memory space consumption. Downloading it on the consoles and the PC would surely take hours or even a day at the most.

The pre-loading period is important for gamers because the game is big, in any language. In fact, Bethesda recently stated that the small capacity of conventional DVDs compared to Blu-ray discs used by consoles as one of the reasons why they require the PC version to be partially downloaded from Steam, even when it was purchased on disc.
