Don’t Pick a Player that Sucks, Kobe Bryant Tells Lakers on Team’s No. 2 Overall Pick in the Upcoming NBA Draft

It is likely that the Los Angeles Lakers will pick in the draft Karl-Anthony Towns or Jahlil Okafor, who will join the likes of Julius Randle and Jordan Clarkson who finished the season as two of the most promising rookies for 2014-15.

There has been reports that the Lakers is looking to bring back Tarik Black and would also work to keep Jabari Brown from moving forward and joining another team.

While it may be true that the Lakers are still far from being a championship contender again, the team can dramatically change its fortunes by making the right moves in the draft and also bringing in a big-name player or two when the NBA free agency signing begins in July.

Until then, the Lakers need all the help it can get in terms of what it must do to be able to finally give Kobe Bryant a fitting ride into the sunset when the NBA 2015-16 unfolds in November this year.
