Apple has unveiled during the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2015 its newest mobile operating system, the iOS 9, that brings with it tons of great features to make iOS device user experience truly awesome.
The Apple iOS 9 builds on the contents introduced with iOS 7 and iOS 8, bringing along subtle design changes, refined features and improved functionality, as well as performance enhancements.
In addition, the American tech giant has also stated that the iOS 9 would also have tons of new security features and fixes that would essentially lock up the iOS device real tight, making it difficult for the jailbreak community to unlock. Apple even claimed that the jailbreak on the iOS 9 is extremely grim at this point, notes Gotta Be Mobile.
Apparently, the jailbreak community took it as a challenge and instead of shunning jailbreakers, Apple actually inspired most of them to prove that iOS 9 can actually be jailbroken.
Reports have it that a Chinese development team is now working on the iOS 9 jailbreak which accordingly, will also be released this fall immediately after Apple formally releases the iOS 9 come this September.
‘Keen Team’ at it
Latest word has it that it is actually the so-called ‘Keen Team’ which is currently hard at work on the iOS 9 jailbreak. Though they are not as popular as the others who have already released an iOS jailbreak in the past because they have not done it yet, but they’re also a familiar name in the hacking community.
They were the ones who exploited the iPhone’s Safari web browser in 2013 and 2014 Mobile Pwn2Own competitions and winning loads of money for doing it.
Although the team does not have an iOS 9 jailbreak at this time, they are quite confident that they are going to crack the new Apple mobile operating system soon and are saying that they would be releasing it also this coming fall immediately after the official roll out of the iOS 9.
Whether it’s a mockery on Apple’s tight security claim on the iOS 9 or the ‘Keen Team’ is just bluffing with its supposed capability to break down the new mobile operating system of the American tech giant, it remains to be seen once Apple officially rolls out the iOS 9 to the mobile software market.
Jailbreaks for iOS 8.3 and iOS 8.4
While the iOS 9 is just a speculation at this time, the iOS 8.3 jailbreak or the iOS 8.4 jailbreak will reportedly be coming out next month.
Despite the launching of the iOS 9 during the WWDC 2015 early this month, Apple will still be releasing its iOS 8.4 firmware update on June 30. Thus, the iOS 8.4 jailbreak would follow after that maybe in a week’s time or two.
Jailbreak developers are quite apprehensive on releasing an iOS 8.3 jailbreak before June 30 because they might give Apple sufficient time to patch up the crack and allow the company to apply it to iOS 8.4, which would make the upcoming firmware update unjailbreakable.
