‘Castle’ Season 8 Episode 14 to See Rick Heading to Los Angeles and Getting Recruited by a Secret Society

“Spectrum” will be launching on Free Comic Book Day on May 7 and is part one of a four-part series tied to “Con Man.”

Nathan plays Spectrum’s captain James Raaker which means that since the fictional TV show will be getting an upgrade via its own show in the next two months, Fillion will have to focus on “Con Man” and “Spectrum” more.

As for Stana, the 37-year-old actress was recently asked during the Independent Spirit Awards about what projects she has on her plate.

Katic revealed that she’s developing a cable-style television program and doesn’t mention “Castle” on her list of projects.

While no official word yet has come from ABC about the show’s cancellation, fans are aware of the show’s struggles to maintain its ratings.

Fans initially thought that Season 7 was the last of “Castle” given a massive dip in its ratings and very monotonous storylines, but were surprised when ABC decided to give it another chance.

Although, it looks like the current season isn’t doing well either despite some high moments for its key characters especially with Rick’s disappearance playing out as the biggest mystery of the season.

In a recent interview with TV Line, the new showrunners discussed that the plummeting ratings could possibly be because of what series creator Andrew Marlowe did with last year’s season finale — write it without knowing if the show will still return or not.

  1. First of all Alexis and Hayley did not save Beckett and Castle even though Beckett did say that Ryan and Espisoto “rescued” them. Actually Beckett and Castle had already disarmed and subdued the killer before R & E arrived on the scene. Hayley and Alexis merely located where B & C were being held and sent R & E there who merely opened the door as C & B were approaching it to get out.
The student was the only one dead in the snake pit. It was the zoo keeper who killed him.

  2. Sorry but Hayley and Alexis had nothing to do with saving Beckett and Castle. They had already subdued and disarmed the killer before Ryan and Espisito appeared to open the door when Castle and Beckett went out. All Alexis and Hayley did was to locate Castle and Beckett and send Ryan and Espisito to rescue them but all that remained for them to do was to open the door for them.
I am one of many who could care less if they ever finished Castle’s disappearance and LokSat. I for one cannot tolerate a season long mystery when you are kept in the dark virtually the entire season. I get bored in the waiting.

  3. An episode without Beckett or very little of Beckett is a wasted episode. Don’t the show runners hear the fans, don’t they know what the fans want, don’t they know that they have lost 2/3 of their fans by their failure to respond to the fans’ desires, don’t they know that Stana and Nathan are looking at other projects because they can read the writing on the wall while the show runners cannot.

  4. Buddy I agree with your last comments.Unfortunately these writers don’t care they already have other things going on themselves .To bad they had to ruin a good show with this bad writing and not caring about the fan base.
