The other confirmation for the possible production of “Big Hero 7” came from voice actress Genesis Rodriguez, who lent her voice to the character Honey Lemon, one of the members of Big Hero 6.
She was quoted as saying in a recent interview that she is already excited to go back to the studio with the rest of the voice cast.
“Big Hero 6” Director Chris Williams recently explained that no sequel will ever get made unless the directors want one and feel strongly that there is a story that needs to be told.
He added that if it is not a great story, it won’t be a great movie, adding that the fans deserve nothing less but a great story.
Williams also added that they also have to consider the big expectations from the audience who mostly grew up with Disney animation.
Apparently, it is the new paradigm being implemented by Disney because the entertainment conglomerate wants to elevate storytelling and put filmmakers in the center of the process. This only means that Disney would only agree to make sequels of its past film if the creative team can come up with a worthy idea of making one.
It is expected that Disney or Marvel Studios would make the official announcement about “Big Hero 7” once a great story, by Director Chris Williams standards, has already been approved and green-lighted for production.
