‘Better Call Saul’ Season 2 Filming Preparations Underway; Return to Albuquerqueas Location Likely

While the crew and cast are busy with Season 2 production, “Better Call Saul” Season 1 is set to garner awards this year.

The first season of the drama series already won two awards this year during the 5th Critics’ Choice Television Awards and got nominations from the 31st TCA Awards. Meanwhile, Odenkirk won the Best Actor while Jonathan Ray Banks won the Best Supporting Actor in the Critics’ Choice Awards.

On the other hand, TCA Awards nominated the first season of the series as Outstanding New Program. It also nominated Odenkirk with Individual Achievement in Drama. Meanwhile, the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards gave “Better Call Saul” seven nominations including being one of the Outstanding Drama TV Series, according to Washington Post.

Variety stated that “Better Call Saul” Season 1 garnered an average of 5.9 million viewers, the highest ratings in AMC’s history. With millions of viewers, Season 2 will surely be one of the most awaited AMC show for 2016.
