Although it is almost certain that “Battlefield 5” will debut at some point this year, it is still unknown when exactly the game will make it to the gaming consoles.
What seems clear at this point is that DICE is not yet ready to talk about “Battlefield 5” which could be a hint that the developer is still busy working on the game.
One Twitter user recently asked DICE technical director Johan Andersson when gamers are going to get information about “Battlefield 5” and when it can be expected to hit the gaming consoles.
Anderson simply responded by saying nope. The same Twitter user also threw the same question to the company’s Twitter account and the handler of the social media account said that the company will announce the game on its microblogging site once it is available.
“Battlefield” is actually a series of first-person shooter video games that began on the Microsoft Windows and the OS X with its debut video game “Battlefield 1942,” which was released in 2002.
The series features a particular focus on large maps, teamwork, and vehicle warfare than most other first-person shooter video games. The PC games in the series are mainly focused on online multiplayer.
