Since Eisenberg, who just celebrated his 32nd birthday on October 5, was cast in “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” fans have been mystified as to how he would portray the master villain.
The teaser trailer unveiled during this year’s ComicCon 2015 in San Diego showed that “The Social Network” actor will have an eccentric take on the character, but the current viral video for Fortune quite sealed the deal on what to expect from Superman’s adversary.
In the trailer, Lex attempts to manipulate Clark Kent’s alter-ego to work for him. His whole plan to protect the earth, however, is still unclear.
From the looks of it, there will be more of Fortune’s profiling of Lex Luthor to come out soon. It should be interesting to note how far this viral marketing campaign will go given how powerful social media nowadays is.
“Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” hits theaters in March next year and tells the story of Batman, played by Ben Affleck, traveling to Metropolis to fight Superman, played by Henry Cavill, fearing what would happen if the Kryptonian is left unchecked, while another threat pits humankind with an imminent danger.
Joining them are “Man of Steel” stars Amy Adams and Diane Lane reprising their roles as Lois Lane and Martha Kent, respectively. Gal Gadot also stars as Diana Prince a.k.a. Wonder Woman.
