Both Austin Mahone and Becky G have confirmed that they have been dating and that they really like each other’s company.
Their respective social media accounts are mostly filled with pictures of the two of them with all kinds of PDAs that many of their fans are thrilled knowing that the two appear to be very in love with one another.
While they may indeed be in love in their own way, it appears that the relationship of the two young musicians is meant more to inspire each other rather than proceed right away to the next level or the more serious kind.
In a recent interview, Becky G made it clear that their relationship is not about getting really serious and being committed with the end in view of getting engaged and tying the knot soon thereafter. She just said that she and Austin are doing what young people should be doing, which is having fun, notes Youth Health Mag.
Apparently, while the pair seems to be taking their fondness and affection for each other seriously, they also bear in mind that they’re still too young to commit to a lifetime relationship like marriage perhaps.
Becky G is only 18 years old while Austin is only 19. And given their respective music careers which seems to be both in the upswing, they certainly would not want to cut it short by taking their relationship to the next level rather prematurely.
Sure, fans love the two of them together, but Austin and Becky G know better how they want their careers to end up, whether long enough or short-lived.
The confirmation
Becky G confirmed in April that she and Austin Mahone is a couple. Subsequently, it was the turn of the 19-year-old heartthrob singer to admit that he is indeed dating the 18-year-old songstress.
In a recent interview while filming his new movie titled “Dirty Work,” which is also the title of one of his singles, Austin formally confirmed that he and Becky G are indeed dating.
He said that he feels pretty crazy about him and Becky G dating because he has never been into a real relationship before. He added that he feels great being in a relationship with someone who does the same thing he does because they both understand each other and understand what they do.
Austin also disclosed that he and Becky G have done a real cool music video together for her song “Lovin’ So Hard.” It was during the filming of the video that their relationship blossomed.
He said that the music video was a song for Becky G’s single that is out already. He detailed that the video showed he and Becky going all over LA, going to the beach, just hanging out with one another and doing all the fun stuff. He added that it was an intimate video from their perspective since they are really dating in real life.
