Studio Wildcard’s game ARK: Survival Evolved will be fully releasing on 8 August on PC, MAC/Linux, Xbox One, and PS4.
ARK: Survival Evolved is an open world survival game where gamers will be stranded on a beach of a mysterious island. Some more people will be starving along with them on the beach.
According to DVS Gaming:
Players will have to hunt, harvest, craft, build shelters, and research technology to protect themselves against scorching days, freezing nights, changing weather systems, dangerous wildlife, and potential enemies. Players will be able to tame, train, ride and breed one of 100 dinosaurs and other prehistoric beasts.
ARK: Survival Evolved was previously made available via ‘Early Access’ for a few years. It gained almost 9 million players around the world. However, it will be released fully this summer.
Jeremy Stieglitz, Studio Wildcard co-founder, shared: “During the past two years, millions of Ark players have built gigantic bases, captured and trained armies of dinosaurs, crafted armories full of weapons and eaten billions of pounds of Jurassic creature-kabobs. With their help, we’re about to reach the completion of core content for Ark: Survival Evolved and release the full game to the world.”
Stieglitz also shared that new content, additional gameplay, creatures and story elements will be added to the new gameplay.
You can pre-order ARK: Survival Evolved for a price of $60. However, this offer only includes the base game. In order to get access to The Explorer’s Edition, you will have to pay $100. But it also comes with a season pass with which you will have access to all the available expansion packs. You can also pre-order the Limited Collector’s Edition for a price of $160 which includes many other exciting free items.
Studio Wildcard also released the modder-made map Ragnarok on Steam in late June. It serves as ARK’s first official expansion. Some of the new features of the map include caves of different shapes and sizes, hot springs, 
challenging dungeons, different types of former ARK creatures, an ocean with an independent ecosystem, and a volcano that releases massive amounts of resources.
