Another rumor surfacing is that the upcoming iPhone 7 will ditch the headphone jack. A certain bet iOS code that was leaked seemed to have confirmed this, but the company has not given an official word on it yet.
Some reports note that if Apple will release the iPhone 7 with the new camera technology, then users can expect a huge rise in its introductory price compared to that of the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus.
Concept photos of what the phone might look like without the 3.5-mm headphone jack were uploaded online, but all of it seemed far-fetched from what the company might release in a few months.
Concept designer Geert van Uffelen also created an almost accurate concept photo and gave consumers the idea of how thin the device will be if Apple decided to do away with the headphone jack.
In Uffelen’s photo, the stereo speakers of the iPhone 7 are on the bottom, which means it could potentially replace the single speaker at the bottom right of the current iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus models.
The concept photo also shows the phone having no antenna lines present as that of previous iPhone models. It also renders a flat camera.
