The 9.7-inch iPad Pro was announced last March 21 along with the company’s low-cost entry iPhone, the iPhone SE. Both devices were made available in the market 10 days later.
The device takes the design of the first iPad Pro and makes use of the Apple A9X processor. It also features a 2048 x 1536-pixel resolution.
It comes with four built-in speakers like the 12.9-inch device as well as features like Smart Connector and Touch ID.
It comes in two variants, the Wi-Fi model, and the cellular model. In terms of storage, the 9.7-inch tablet comes in 32GB, 128Gb, and 256GB options.
The device is available in black and space gray, white and silver, and white and rose gold color variants and comes running with the latest Apple mobile operating system, the iOS 9.
The device also offers features such as Apple Pay support, AirDrop, AirPlay, Spotlight Search, Apple Music, and Family Sharing among others as standard. It also comes with Pages, Numbers, and Keynotes offering users the company’s productivity applications.
Its rear camera can shoot 12MP photos and can do 4K video recording at 30 fps, and 1080p at 30 fps. It is also equipped with the iSight camera and has a 5MP FaceTime camera. In terms of camera and video recording, Apple Insider notes that it’s one of the best iPad there is to date.
