Last year, when Android Lollipop came out in November, Samsung jumped right in and only took a month before their latest gadget offerings that time were updated to the latest OS. This means Samsung high-end smartphones users won’t have to fret because Samsung is likely to do the same routine with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Other devices, on the other hand, such as the LG G3 seems to have not received the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update yet and reports say that the device will actually skip it and will directly be updated to Marshmallow.
According to Realty Today, the upcoming software upgrade by Google is also expected to be released for Motorola’s Moto X Style, Droid Turbo, and Moto G. If rumors are true then the latest operating system may hit their devices early next year.
Taiwanese manufacturer HTC is also prepping up their One M9 along with two other high-end devices to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow although no date has been announced by the tech firm yet.
iDigital Times notes that several devices of Sony are already lined up to get the latest OS fix. Among the reported devices expected to have a taste of the Android M are the Sony Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3+, and Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet.
