Minecraft for Nintendo Switch Will Be the Game’s Best Version, Other Titles Have Been Announced for Switch as Well

It is now official; Minecraft is finally coming to [easyazon_link identifier=”B01MUAGZ49″ locale=”US” tag=”masterherald-20″]Nintendo Switch[/easyazon_link]. It won’t be at launch but within a span of a few months. So, you might be wondering what difference does that make since Minecraft is already available on every platform.

However, there is something different about the Switch platform. It will make it probably the best version of the game released so far. It will be the full game, and at the same time, it will be mobile. Keep in mind that this has never happened before and now it is quite the game changer.

When Minecraft came to Wii U, people said that it was quite late since the game has been around for years. The game did quite well on the Wii U, and the remote play of the Gamepad further augmented the experience along with the great Mario Skinpack.

Keep in mind that it was not a perfectly gorgeous must-own version of the game and moreover, it was never going to be that. At that time, it was clear that Nintendo was laying down the foundation for the Minecraft Switch Edition. The rumors clearly suggested that Nintendo NX is a dual-console handheld system and it was a hugely promising effort for Minecraft.

We all know something; the game has never been quite awesome on-the-go. The Pocket Edition has always been hobbled. It didn’t have the Nether presence for years, and while content-wise, it has mostly caught up, it is quite difficult to control, and it will always be like that.

The PS Vita Edition was better, but the updates lagged quite a lot when compared to the console editions, and moreover, the Vita never had an awesome user base. Meanwhile, the Switch was perfect for Minecraft. There was one key aspect which set it apart.

You can play on your same Minecraft world, both on the go and on your television. With the PS Vita or the PS4, that wasn’t quite possible. It wasn’t possible on a tablet or Xbox One either. That is because there were many different version of the game along with many different systems. Using the Switch, you can play Minecraft on a handheld and on your television.

It is in fact, the key feature of the system. You can take Zelda with you OTG, and with that, you can take Minecraft too. The best aspect is you will have buttons and not just foolish, clumsy thumbs. On top of that, you don’t need a separate world to play at the airport or the subway.

You can just check into your normal world and go at it, starting right where you left it off. This is essentially something that even the PC edition of Minecraft is not capable of. Due to this, Minecraft Switch Edition is quite compelling.

It is worthwhile even for the longtime players of Minecraft. Most Minecraft lovers will pick it up and start having a good time.

The Nintendo Switch will arrive on 3rd March for a price of $299 along with a couple of games. This includes The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild along with a new party game, known as 1,2 Switch. However, the Japanese company also talked about lots of new games for its latest console during an event in Tokyo on Friday, starting from Mario Kart to Skyrim.

In one way or other, these are the following games that have been announced for the Nintendo Switch: –

    • 1, 2, Switch
    • Arcade Archives
    • Arms

Minecraft switch edition

  • The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+
  • Disgaea 5 Complete
  • Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2
  • Dragon Quest X
  • Dragon Quest XI
  • Dragon Quest Heroes I & II
  • The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
  • EA Sports FIFA
  • Farming Simulator
  • Fire Emblem Warriors
  • Has-Been Heroes

Just like the PC version is to laptop owners. This is not new.

“You can just check into your normal world and go at it, starting right where you left it off. This is essentially something that even the PC edition of Minecraft is not capable of.”

I don’t understand this. Aren’t laptop PC users already doing this?

  2. Just ignoring the fact that you’ve been able to do this with the Pocket and Windows 10 editions and cross play between them.

Getting it on the switch will limit you to playing with anyone else who owns a switch, so it’ll be the loneliest version of the game.
