2016 Ford Bronco Possible Launching Next Year Would Mark 20 Years After the End of Production of the Old Bronco!

While the American carmaker Ford Motor Company has yet to come out with an official announcement or statement regarding the 2016 Bronco, many in the international motoring community believe that the iconic vehicle brand will finally come out next year after a long hiatus.

Timing-wise, when the 2016 Ford Bronco comes out next year, it will actually mark exactly two decades from the time that the old Bronco was halted from production, notes SUV n Truck.

Recent reports have it that Ford may finally launch the 2016 Ford Bronco at the upcoming Detroit International Auto Show slated in January next year.

Assuming the reports are right on target about the upcoming Bronco, it will be the first time in 20 years that Ford will put the SUV back into production..

The last official word from Ford about the iconic Bronco brand was way back in 2004 when the American carmaker showed it as a concept car for the first time during the North American Motor Show held in Detroit.

The concept car has become the hint of how the 2016 Ford Bronco will look. It would surely have a different design according to some new lines that are fashionable at the moment, but if it is going to look anything like the concept from 2004, it is going to have a box-like roof line, a short wheel-base, and round headlights similar to the early Bronco models from the 80s.

A best-selling SUV in the making

Assuming that Ford finally gives the 2016 Bronco a green light on its assembly line next year, the vehicle seems to have all the qualifications and makings of a best-selling SUV.

That assumption, however, is based on a presumption that all the features and specifications about the 2016 Ford Bronco that have been making the rounds on the internet since last year are right on target.

When reports recently came out that Ford would be launching the 2016 Bronco at the upcoming Detroit International Auto Show in January next year, fans of the iconic vehicle brand were thrilled knowing that they could soon see again the classic vehicle lording it over the road, notes Car Concept 2016.

The 2016 Ford Bronco is also roomy enough for the family where they can put all their belongings behind the back seats while keeping its aura of power, given the might of the vehicle, inside and out.

As previously reported, the 2016 Bronco has a higher ground clearance, making it the ideal vehicle for off-road adventures.

Ending the Ford Raptor series

When reports about the 2016 Ford Bronco first came out in April 2014, it also came with the hype that the truck-like SUV would put an end to the American carmaker’s very popular Raptor series.

The Ford Raptor is a very popular pick-up brand that has seen better days after the American auto manufacturer released its latest F-150 pickup trucks.

In fact, the 2016 Ford Bronco will replace the outgoing Raptor because the upcoming vehicle will be built on the Ford Atlas platform.

The Ford Atlas platform requires the use of advanced and lighter materials in the assembly but would ensure excellent durability for a reliable all-terrain vehicle.

The Ford F-150 was also built based on the Ford Atlas concept and platform so the upcoming Bronco will basically share similar features.

2015 Ford Bronco

The new Bronco will reportedly be using aluminum and high-strength steel parts to make it resilient and light.

With all the specifications and features released about the 2016 Ford Bronco, one could not help but believe that the vehicle may indeed be real because it is just too impossible for someone to make all those things up.

Since April 1, 2014, talks about the 2016 Ford Bronco have started going around rather wildly on the internet.
