Zelda Wii U Console Release Has Been Confirmed!

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will be the fourth title to be moved from the Nintendo 64 archives to the Nintendo Wii U, but there has not been any word on whether it will be the last one to be converted. There are plenty of classics that Nintendo can “revive” on the Nintendo Wii U console.

According to the Wikipedia page for the game, it was released back in 1998 and was considered one of the best, single-player games on the market. The game sold just less than 900,000 units back in 1998 and it was only 18 months later that the next chapter from the same title was released.

Worldwide, the Ocarina of Time sold more than 7.6 million copies since 1998. During the Japan Media Arts Festival, the game was honored with the grand prize Interactive Art Division. If all the good was not enough, the game was recognized by Guiness World Records as the highest rated game of all time.
