You pay enough for games like this and for the most part they deliver one of the best, most visual appealing experiences that you can expect. However, when there are glitches that are mistakes, or even built in, the gameplay is less fluid and that makes for some poor reviews and demands for the next version.

Now, add all of the glitches that fans want fixed and you are talking about a ton of work for a full-time developer. Part of the problem is the push to have game released sooner, much like new smartphones, and the fact that you can only do so much before that time frame is up.
