When you start to think about the new video games that are coming out each month for the new game consoles, the last thing you are hoping for is major gameplay issues that put a bad taste into your mouth as a fan of the game. Developers have to work so hard to make sure that each aspect of the game is ready to go before the launch of the game and even though we are all sure they work hard, sometimes a few things get passed the quality control department.
WWE 2K16 is not a game that is exempt from these glitches. After the game was released last year, the community of hardcore wrestling fans took to the internet to explain all of the things they felt should be changed for the game that has been released this year. According to a couple of sources online, those concerns were answered more so than ever before. However, there are still a few gameplay issues that fans wish would be corrected.
Gameplay is one of the gauges that is used when video game reviewers take to the web with their two cents on whether a game is going to make the grade. If you have been a fan of wrestling for a while and connect to the internet on a daily basis to read the news, then you are aware of at least one of the glitches that has gone viral in no time. With the power of social media behind the gamers, glitches in just about any aspect of any video game can go viral in hours.
That usually brings a ton of attention to the glitch, as well as to the developers that might be tasked with fixing the problem on the next update. WWE 2K16 features John Cena, of course, as one of the wrestlers that you can control and there is apparently a glitch that shows the popular wrestler floating out of the ring after a win. Cena floats out of the ring and it has been the butt of many jokes about E.T. and being beamed up, etc.
Being able to fix that just requires the time to create patches and test them. Other issues include the new submission system, run-in brawl scenes, Renee Young’s interviews, proper way to preview items when creating your wrestler, kick-out animations, weird responsiveness, auto-countering A.I. and the fact that the game does not have a good tutorial. Some of these things might not seem like that big of a deal, but each one of them does take away from the gameplay experience that you are getting.
