Winds of Winter to Take It Easier on the Murders, But Still as Dark as Its Predecessors!

Apparently, having so many characters dying on the show has caused problems for its budget, as the constant need to look for new actors and work with short-term contracts has been a logistic nightmare. It’s entirely possible that this is true, but on the other hand, “Game of Thrones” is not exactly a show with a tight budget.

If anything, the production has quite the serious financial backing behind it, so it would be surprising to see the producers deciding to cut down on their expenses in this way. We never know what might be happening behind the scenes though, and as we said above, it’s at least a plausible explanation.

Fans of “Game of Thrones” were very pleased with the last season of the show, and if that’s any indication for the quality of “Winds of Winter”, we’re expecting great things from the book… whenever it’s ready.

We expect that Martin will start being a bit more vocal about his work as he approaches the completion of the newest book, but until then he will likely keep his lips tightly sealed. That’s entirely in his style, and it’s the way he has been “communicating” with his fans so far in general. Most people are already used to the idea, and while some are frustrated by the constant lack of communication, it’s at least good to know that the author is focusing on his work instead of spending all his time on Twitter.
