The latest book is going to be getting all the loose ends tied up and it has been reported that at least one death scene was inspired by a trip that George R. R. Martin took to Germany recently. George R. R. Martin said that this specific character was going to die, but never really knew how it was going to happen, according to a recent interview.
The character was not named and the way of death was also not mentioned in the interview for obvious reasons, but that did not stop fans from speculating who it will be. One of the possibilities is Asha Greyjoy, however, there are other sources that have a list of characters that could get the ax from the story.
Winds of Winter is expected to arrive in stores and become a best seller just like the others in the series. Other projects that George R. R. Martin is working on with HBO and Cinemax should be release next year as well.
