Wife of Michael Schumacher Sells £25 Million Jet and Holiday Home Because F1 Racer Would Not Enjoy Them Again

While the Schumacher family has always remain hopeful on the full recovery of former F! world champion from his brain injury after a skiing accident in December 2013, it seems that his wife Corinna has already accepted the fact that her husband would never fully heal again.

This became obvious after she recently sold Michael’s £25 million jet and holiday home because she believes that her husband would never enjoy them again, cites the Daily Mail.

Corinna is now contemplating also on selling the family’s chalet at Meribel in the French Alps, perhaps thinking that the place shall only remind them of the life-changing skiing accident that has befallen her husband.

Although there were reports that the Schumacher family has already spent a substantial amount from the time that Michael suffered a skiing accident in the French Alps in December 2013 and went into a coma for over six months before waking up and has since been on round-the-clock care, Michael has a £500 million business empire that his family can always draw money from for his care.

Apparently, Corinna has taken over her husband’s business and that caused friction between her and Michael’s father Rolf.

Little progress

According to doctors of the 46-year-old former seven-time F1 world champion Michael Schumacher remains immobile and still can’t speak as of this time.

He is currently recuperating at their home in Lake Geneva, Switzerland and is being provided with care and round-the-clock therapy by a team of specialists.

Although the family has imposed a news blackout regarding Michael’s health conditions, the decision of Corinna to dispose some of the company’s key assets only indicates that there is still no positive sign as far as recovery of Michael is concerned.

Being alone in her husband’s golden empire, Corinna has to act for the good of the family and also that of her husband and the decision to sell some of their assets is part of that act since those are turning out to be white elephants and will remain useless.

Most successful F1 driver
