The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Fans Elated that Developer Gave in to their Request for a Standalone Gwent Game!

One gamer, a YouTuber with the fanciful name of FluffyNinjaLlama, has recently discovered an Easter egg on the “Blood & Wine” DLC of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” that pays homage to a very popular character in the HBO hit TV series “Game of Thrones.”

The specific Easter egg can be found in a pub in Toussaint. When game protagonist Geralt of Rivia went to the pub to partake in the Gwent card game in order to get some stronger Skellige faction cards, a young girl reminiscent of Arya Stark, played by Maissie Williams in the TV series, pesters him.

The girl keeps on asking Geralt of Rivia with a lot of questions including whether indeed winter is coming or whether he knows how to swing a sword left-handed, to which the girl says she does.

The young lass even tells Geralt that she had a dream where she is a wolf, which is a clear reference to Arya Stark’s warg bond with her direwolf Nymeria mentioned in the lore of the fantasy novel series “A Song of Ice and Fire” by critically-acclaimed author George R.R. Martin.

The non-playable character also does not have a name but is simply called ‘Girl,’ which is again a reference to how the Faceless Man of Braavos describes Arya Stark in “Game of Thrones.”
